Safe Flying

If you’re flying over the holidays try and keep these things in mind:

First: The Fourth Amendment of the Constitution:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

“A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both.” ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower

And finally:

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

As a people we should be totally ashamed that we’ve let things (and by things I mean our government and fear mongering fourth estate) get so out of hand that we’ve granted the right of search to a company that has less than a (approx.) 25% “catch” rate for anything related to harming us while we fly…

We are all morons and deserve the metaphorical (and near literal) raping of our persons, country and planet…
